I was looking for the right picture to put on the cover of this beautiful and extremely honest book. Finally I found it in the pile of old photos in an antique shop in the old jewish discrict of Krakow. A little bit by chance it turned out that the portrait divided in two looks like a photograph of two different people.

While working on this cover I was wandering what in fact is the object of translating literature - the text itself or rather that, what is hidden between the lines? The earlier experiments with multiplication and borders of letter recognition led me to the chosen cover, which was finally plait out of paper strips.
